Obituary of Brian H. McGrory

Brian H. McGrory, age 65, of Milford and formerly of the Bronx passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Bronx, NY on October 10, 1958, he was the son of the late Henry and Greta (Swenson) McGrory. Brian had served in the U.S. Navy and ultimately worked in the Local Union 46 as a wire lather for many years and building many friendships along the way. Brian had a great sense of humor and was a great friend to those close to him. He was a kind hearted soul and loved kids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife Hope (Davidson) McGrory, other survivors include his loving sister, Maureen Ciardiello and her husband Mario of Trumbull, cherished niece and nephews, Eric Ciardiello and his wife Michelle, and Kayla and Justin Ciardiello as well as adored great nieces, Anna Maria and Gabriella. He was predeceased by his sister, Colleen A. McGrory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 79 Church St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
