Obituary of Kevin Michael Corcoran Jr.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son, Kevin Michael Corcoran Jr. of Shelton, CT, who was taken from us too soon on September 1, 2024 at the age 33. Born in Norwalk on August 18, 1991, he was the loving son of Kevin Michael Sr. and Lynn Opper Corcoran.

He brought immeasurable joy and laughter into our lives with his kind heart, and endless stories. Kevin enjoyed listening to music, and being with his family and friends. He also had a way with animals along with going on his great adventures. Kevin was so kind to everyone he met, that when you were with him, he would talk nonstop. Kevin will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts.

In addition to his loving parents Kevin Sr. and Lynn, he is survived by his devoted brothers, Ryan Corcoran and Shane Corcoran, who have been with him every step of the way and of course Callie, who he loved very much. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousin and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, David Opper, Madeline Opper and her companion Jack Karbowicz and Frank Corcoran Sr. and Nancy Corcoran Rusco and her husband Jack.

A special thank you to all his caregivers over the years at Griffin hospital, Yale New Haven hospital, and Bridgeport ICU.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
