Having grown up down the street from her grandson, Nick, I had the pleasure of Olga’s company for almost my entire upbringing. Ever since I was 6 or 7 years old she would always treat me like I was part of the family. From making jokes about my love of PBnJ sandwiches since I was 10 years old, to always making my favorite dishes when I would visit, and even inviting me to come along with her family to Martha’s Vineyard, she really was a funny and compassionate person. She will be sorely missed, not least of all by myself and those in my family who knew her. Truly an exceptional lady, may she rest in peace and tranquility.
With all my love and condolences, Hugh Benet and the Benet family.

Our condolences to Patricia, Bill, and all family members for the loss of Aunt Olga. Her kindness, love and dedication to family and friends will be dearly missed. There is no shortage of great memories from family gatherings in Trumbull and time shared on the Vineyard. Aunt Olga always made everyone feel welcome with her generous heart!
With sympathy and much love during this difficult time,
--Mike and family

I was privileged To meet Olga on a couple of family occasions as a guest of her son, Bill. Her benign and welcoming presence was something I remember as the embodiment of decency and good nature. The food was great, too!! And so, I send my sincere condolences to Bill and the Covinos on the passing of dear Olga.

It is with a heavy heart that I express my deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Covino. I had the privilege of knowing her through her son, Bill, whom I met during my graduate studies in the late 1980s. Since our first Thanksgiving gathering in Trumbull, Connecticut, and memorable trips to the Vineyard, Mrs. Covino held a special place in my heart. I am truly grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to know her. May she find eternal peace and comfort in the hereafter. — K. Jay Chow
