Obituary of Genevieve LoConte

Resident of Fairfield Genevieve LoConte, age 89, of Fairfield, a retired bookkeeper for the former Red Star Company, died on Monday, June 16, 2008 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 31, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Iannarone LoConte. Miss LoConte was a longtime Fairfield resident and a very active parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Parish where she was a member of the choir and served as an eucharistic minister. She enjoyed spending time in her garden. Survivors include nieces, Christine Vincent and Charlene Vincent and her husband Joseph, a sister-in-law, Lucy LaConte, all of Stratford, grand nephew David Vincent and his fiancee Megan LaBelle and grand nieces Kristen and Sarah Vincent as well as many cousins and several dear friends. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Felix A. LaConte and a sister Maria Hackman. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 9:45 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
