Obituary of Kathleen J. Lynam

Resident of Stamford Kathleen J. Farrell Lynam, age 93, of Stamford, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Ludlowe Health Center in Fairfield with her family by her side. She was the widow of Patrick J. Lynam. Born in County Longford, Ireland on August 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Reilly Farrell. She worked for the Courtland Garden Residence in Stamford for over 30 years before her retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed to read and loved working in her garden. She also found great joy in baking Irish Soda Bread for her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, James P. Lynam of Michigan, Carmel OMeara of Shelton, Dolores Lynam DeTenorio of South America, and Anthony J. Lynam and his wife Cindy of Old Greenwich; her grandchildren, John F. OMeara and his wife Josephine of Trumbull, Shannon M. Birch and her husband Bryan of Westport, Douglas J. OMeara of Seymour, Dermot J. OMeara and his wife Joy of Trumbull, Chandra Lynam-Habrecht and her husband George of Trumbull, Tina Marquez of South America, and Meaghan Lynam of Old Greenwich; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was pre-deceased by her daughter, Celine M. Lynam. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
