Obituary of Mario John Mainiero

Mario John Mainiero, age 91, of Fairfield, beloved husband of the late Shirley Greenberger Mainiero, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Castelfranco, Italy on March 19, 1920, he was a son of the late Vincent and Grace DelVecchio Mainiero. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union from 1948-1984 and was an avid bowler and skier. Survivors include two sons, Richard Mainiero and his wife Matilda of Trumbull and Mark Mainiero and his wife Jean of Conyers, GA, a brother, Vincent Mainiero and his wife, Elizabeth of Milford, a sister, Dolores Pellegrino of Trumbull, two grandsons, Ronald Mainiero and his wife Laurie and Richard Mainiero, three great grandchildren, Jack, Madison and Skylar Mainiero. In addition to his wife, he is pre-deceased by two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Mainiero and four sisters, Theolinda Giordano, Eleanor Rovello, Ann Matthews and Angie Scinto. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
