Obituary of Shirley Manzo

Shirley Damiano Manzo, age 80, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Angelo J. Manzo, died on Thursday, January 5, 2012 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Paterson, NJ on September 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Vito and Anna Grande Damiano. Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Manzo of Bridgeport, a sister, Josephine Thompson and her husband George of Midland Park, NJ, sisters-in-law, Grace Nobile of Bridgeport, Mae Manzo of Bridgeport, Vera Porco of Milford, Carmella Pellegrino and her husband Michael of Trumbull and Ann Manzo of Florida, Betty Kotos, her shopping buddy, and nieces, nephews and cousins in New Jersey, as well as nieces and nephews in Connecticut. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Ann Church, 481 Brewster St., Bridgeport on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
