Obituary of Dora Maresca

Dora Grassia Maresca, age 88, a resident of Cambridge Manor, Fairfield, died peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2004. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Mrs. Maresca retired from D. M. Reads. She was the wife of the late Dominic Maresca. Survivors include her son, Jack Maresca and his wife, Patricia of Monroe, her granddaughter, Kari Maresca of Haverill, MA, and Lisa and Donald Cox, children of Patricia Maresca, her sister, Clementine Troiano of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Alfonse and Alfred Grassia and sisters, Elsie Saracino, Josephine Carrafiello and Florence Chuirazzi. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Cambridge Manor, especially the nurses and aides for their thoughtfulness and compassion. 

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
