Obituary of Mary Martino

Former Bridgeport Resident Mary Martino, age 92, of Stratford and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Nadzar Martino. Born in Hazelton, PA, on September 10, 1920, she was a former member of the Success Womens Club. An avid bingo player, Mary also loved trips to the casino and her amazing meatballs will be remembered and missed by everyone that enjoyed them. She is survived by her children, Mary Caporaso and her husband Thomas of Monroe, John Martino and his wife Carol of Cheshire and Ned Martino and his wife Suzanne of Stratford, son-in-law, Gary Moher of Stratford, nine grandchildren, Christine Allan and her husband Raymond, Dawn DeLucia and Alex Bauco, Michele Caporaso, Thomas Caporaso and his wife Michelle, John Martino and his wife Natalie, Diane Cusack and her husband Jay, Lindsay Mazzarella and her husband Michael, Ashley Martino and Kayla Martino, nine great grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Allan, Maia and McKayla Cusack, Ethan and Nicholas Martino and Thomas, Tess and Grace Caporaso. Besides her loving husband Nadzar, she was also preceased by daughters, Gloria Moher and Josephine Joanne DeLucia and a grandson, Michael Moher. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours.
