Obituary of Deborah S. McKay

Account Executive with Aetna Deborah S. McKay, age 59, of Shelton, died on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Hartford on March 12, 1951, she was the daughter of Margaret Greene Paradise of Farmington and the late Ralph D. McKay. She was a retired account executive for Aetna Insurance and was very proud that her family served at Aetna Insurance Company for over 99 years as her mother, father and sister also worked for them. Deborah enjoyed music, singing and playing the guitar. In addition to her mother, survivors include two daughters, Shani T. Husted and her husband Robert of Ansonia and Jennifer Sutton of Southbury and a granddaughter, Brandi Carew. In addition to her father, she was pre-deceased by her sister, Judith McKay McDermott and her stepfather, Charles W. Paradise. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family at a celebration of her life on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 5 to 9 p.m. at John J. Sullivans Restaurant, 557 Wakelee Ave., Ansonia.
