Diane (as we called her) and I grew up on George St. in the Hollow of Bridgeport. We spent many hours together with our neighborhood friends Dolores, Lucille and Marie riding our bikes, playing hopscotch, crowning the Blessed Mother each May in an elaborate ceremony complete with flowers, processions and the lucky one wearing a long curtain veil who would be chosen to crown Mary. We also spent hours during the summer at Nannygoat Park near our homes riding swings and participating in camps that were offered. I and our friends have wonderful memories of growing up on George St. We have gotten together many times since then and enjoyed Diane's wonderful meals and always laughed the evening away. You couldn't help but smile and laugh in Diane's company. She will be dearly missed. My heartfelt sympathy to Art and her beloved family.

I knew Dee for 30 years. She was a loving grandmother to my sons Cory and Kevin. She spoiled us with many delicious holiday dinners that we always looked forward to, as she was such a good cook! We will miss her.
