Obituary of Deanne Marie Manento

Deanne Marie Belletto Manento, age 75, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of Arthur Manento, passed away at home on Thursday, April 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 8, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Marie Oppido Belletto. A graduate of Central High School, Deanne was the owner and operator of the Red Apple and Baskets by Dee in Bridgeport from 1995 – 2003. She was a member of the Mama Association, and the Roma Club. Deanne was a loving and outgoing person; she enjoyed time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to Arthur, her husband of 37 years, survivors include two children, Gregory Manento of Torrington and Rosemarie Belanger and her husband Robert of Plantsville, two brothers, Frank and Anthony Silva, both of Bridgeport, a sister, Rose Rosa and her husband Eli of Bridgeport, four grandchildren, Corey, Kevin, Kayla and Rachel as well as nieces and nephews, Frank III, Shayna, Christopher, Eli Jr. and Nicholas, a great niece, several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
