Debbie & I met almost immediately when my family moved from NY to CT. I immediately felt a connection to her. She was so sweet, comforting and real and I loved her for that bc it was 100% genuine. I know we were going to be the greatest friends forever although we all grow apart as well get older. We were so open with each other and she is always going to be my very first best friend. She adored her family and her morals. . I'll never understand why God takes the best ppl home.

Dear Family, I had the honor of working with Deb in years past at Sikorsky. She was a kind, caring and gentle soul and always helped every time I called her for information. I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Deb. She was a wonderful colleague, and her contributions to our HR team were invaluable. It is with much sadness that I send condolences to the Capozzi family. I worked with Debbie for a number of years and the Lockheed Martin family will truly miss her. Debbie wasn't just very knowledgeable, but she was very kind and always willing to help - simply, a pleasure to know and work with. Deb and I were buddies at work. We had so much in common that our friendship continued outside of work hanging out around town together. I am truly devastated by this loss. Deb truly was selfless and the hardest working woman. She always kept it all together and still lead with humility and compassion. I miss her so much but am hoping she suffers no longer.

My heart breaks. Deb, you lit up every room you entered. You made me laughing every minute of our Guard road trips. I often look back at our text conversations and I crack up reading them.
